BOOK BUY BACK
Due to the COVID-19 virus, there are no students or visitors allowed on our campus at this time. You MUST set up an appointment in order to sell your books back to the Bookstore.
HOW TO SELL YOUR BOOKS:
-
Call or email (email is best) the list of books you want to sell back: 218-335-4214 / emily.raymond@lltc.edu or stop in the bookstore during the designated times and we will help you.

What is Book Buy Back?
At the end of each semester, the campus store will buy back books with cash, based on the book’s current market value, the demand for the book on campus, and the condition in which it is returned.
What condition does the book have to be in?
-
Pages should not be torn, missing, marked up or highlighted excessively so that the print is obscured.
-
Textbooks with water damage, stains, and/or pages sticking together are not considered in "good condition".
How are values decided?
We may offer as much as 50% of your book's original price. If an instructor has requested your textbook for next term, then the value may increase. Generally speaking, textbooks will be purchased until we reach the amount we think we can resell.
What if a textbook is no longer being used?
If we have reached our limit on a particular title for next term, or if your book has not been requested for next term and is a current edition, we may still purchase it based on various criteria including the national demand and the needs of other bookstores.
What if a textbook is from a few years ago?
Often times our instructors try to use the same books for more than one year, so chances are high that we are still purchasing book titles from years ago. Bring it in to our next buy back and we can let you know - even if you are no longer a student!
